Rehearsal Box exists to fix that: real rooms, real photos, honest pricing, live calendars, and booking by the hour — 7am to 11pm, every day of the week. We've been putting subsidised space in the hands of artists for over 8 years, and now we're opening the doors wider.

Pay What You Can
Money should never be the reason the work doesn't happen.
Alongside standard rates, rooms tagged PWYC offer subsidised slots for artists who need them. No means-testing, no awkward conversations — pick the rate that's honest for where you are right now.
If you're funded, pay the standard rate; it's what keeps the subsidised slots alive for the next company. That's the whole system.

What kind of rehearsals are the rooms for?
Theatrical work — plays, devising, R&D, auditions, workshops, table reads, self-tapes. Our rooms aren't soundproofed music studios, so band rehearsals and amplified music aren't a fit.
Can I put on a performance or ticketed show?
Not through the booking calendar — these bookings are for rehearsals and non-commercial work. The rule of thumb: if it needs an audience, a house person or ticketing, it's a show hire — email us and we'll work it out with you properly.
What are the opening hours?
Monday to Sunday, 7am – 11pm. Early calls, late runs, weekend intensives — book whatever your schedule needs.
Can I book long-term or block bookings?
Yes — hourly, daily and long-term packages are all available. For multi-week blocks (a full rehearsal process, say), email us and we'll sort a package rate.
How does Pay What You Can actually work?
PWYC rooms have subsidised rate options on their booking calendar alongside the standard rate. You choose the rate when you book — we trust you to pick the honest one.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Bookings can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before your slot using the link in your confirmation email. Full terms are shown at checkout.
I run a venue — can I list my room here?
